Study of Social Education at the University of Siegen, qualified in 1980.

Study of Political Sciences and Sociology at the University of Siegen, awarded Magistra Artium in May 2003.

 Adviser for international students at ESG Siegen

Part-time lecturer with priority on African Studies at the University of Siegen.

Research-fields: ecological, social and environmental issues in  West- and Central-Africa.

-         Participation in the project „Clean Drinking Water for Leffé“ in planning, implementation and evaluation

Stays in Africa:

-         2001 Togo: Fact-finding tour in basic health care in southern Togo and the problem of waste disposal in Lomé, capital of Togo

-         2005 Republic of Kongo, Research about socioeconomic consequences of oil production in the region of Kouilou and Pointe Noire

-         2015 Evaluation of the development project “Clean Drinking Water for Leffé

 Training in non-university seminars in Development Policy and Development Cooperation, particularly in the area of ​​environmental

-         Employees in two reforestation projects in Dschang / Cameroon

Verena Wolbring,Treasurer,

born 1988 in Dernbach/Germany

 

Study of Social Science and Philosophy at the University of Siegen, qualified in spring 2017

Study Priority: Development policy topics to Subsaharan Africa, asylum in Europe and poverty research. Bachelor thesis on the impact of colonization on the social inequality of States and the contribution of knowledge asymmetries to strengthen those unequal relations in a postcolonial context

 Training in non-university seminars for dealing with conflicts in development cooperation

 Volunteering in assisting refugees and also for people with disabilities, especially with children and adolescents

born 1991 in Dschang/Cameroon

 

Study of Electrical Engineering at the University of Siegen, qualification Master of Science.

 

Training in Development Policy, especially in relation to the countries of Subsahara Africa to environmental issus, conflicts and their impacts, Planning, Implementation and Financing of Development Projects.
